Access to licensed electronic information resources (EIR) is restricted to the IP addresses of the University of South Bohemia.
University staff and students can also access these resources from computers outside the university network using remote access.

Since 2020, access to a number of EIR has been provided through the CzechELib project. The mission of CzechELib is to create better conditions for member institutions to access electronic information resources, to enhance the performance of research, development and education, and to align with other developed countries that successfully operate similar national licensing centres.

Electronic information resources may be used only in accordance with the licensing terms, for non‑commercial purposes — namely for teaching, study, scientific or research activities, or for personal use.
Any other use, including excessive downloading, is considered a violation of licensing terms.
