Citation Databases
Citation databases (AKA Citation indexes) are specialized bibliometric and scientometric tools that track citations of published academic texts.
Citation databases mainly contain bibliographic records, including abstracts, citations of works by authors from around the world, and even full texts, if the source periodicals are subscribed to.
Some full texts are available through Google Scholar or Open Access.
These databases can be used to partially evaluate scientific results achieved in the Czech Republic. The most important databases are Web of Science and Scopus.
WEB OF SCIENCE
Web of Science is a platform for accessing the world-renowned citation database of the same name. It is based on a multidisciplinary Core Collection containing citation indexes:
Journal Citation Indexes
Conference Proceedings

Chemical Indexes
Web of Science also provides access to the Journal Citation Reports database, which is the only one in the world to include the Impact Factor.
